GAPS Healing Diet Day #18

Sunday July 5th, 2015

Two big developments around here yesterday:

1) I added eggs back into my diet successfully
2) I cooked and ate a full-on Paleo AIP meal

Say whaaaaat? I know, right? That's a big day. 

Here's a picture of my meal, consisting of: oven baked ribs, green beans, whipped butternut squash, fermented cabbage.

Looking at it now, I can see that I went wrong on the protein portion as it is clearly about 40-50% of the plate. Not cool. I only needed half of those ribs and would have been fine, full enough, and could have added some applesauce to the plate. 

I think that taking pictures helps because I want to be able to spank myself after doing something like this, and learn from it. Tonight we will have leftover ribs with sauteed spinach, apple sauce, fermented cabbage and something else orange, have to figure out what before dinner. Carrot puree perhaps.

Other: The headaches are bad again, not sure what's up with that.
