Paleo AIP Day #6 - The Day I Hit My Original Goal Weight

Holy shitballs, I never thought this day would come when I started all of the elimination madness on May 11th. Two months exactly to the day, I hit my original goal weight of 10. If you need any further proof that this works then I can't help you. I'm at 150. One-freaking-fifty! Party on, Wayne (party on, Garth)! 

Of course I have adjusted my goal weight to 145, and it may go down to 140 once I have my full confidence back (still living in fear of suddenly gaining it all back, 5 lbs at a time, that may take years to get over, but I'm trying). 

AND, and and - my fermented veg are coming along just beautifully!

I checked and burped them this morning and they smell heavenly (just like my favorite, Bubbie's) and as soon as air hit them they started bubbling like crazy! I tamped them down into the liquid to ensure they are all getting fermented and I won't have any crusties on top, and I added a teeny bit of leftover Bubble's juice into the brussel sprouts and apple concoction because it seemed low on liquid. Today I'll get some garlic dills to add to the first batch of white cabbage kraut once it's done, and I think it will be done soon. This is so exciting! I had hubby pick up two extra rubber sealed jars for me at Ikea yesterday so I can get another batch going, that way I'm starting a new batch every week and I will have plenty on had. As it is I'm going through two jars weekly, so there ya go.

I didn't eat much this morning because I only had about 1/8 of a cup of pumpkin, but I mixed it up a little by adding crispy panchetta on top of my pumpkin "cereal" mixture, threw some applesauce and kraut on the plate, and it was amazing. I love my diet! 

I took a couple of bites before thinking to snap the photo, so yes, there was more. 




Vitals:

Weight: 150.2!!!
Energy level: Great
BM: Yepper, I can pretty much set my watch by it now
Other Gastro: Bubble gut last night after eating some very green soup. Settled down quickly.
Mental clarity: Great
Mood: Great!
Exercise: Took Bandit to the vet with hubby, walk/jogged back. Four miles. Sweaty as can be. Yay!
Other: I'm not sure if I said this here, but I said it to hubby and Dr. Evil the other day: for the first time in my entire life, I'm having regular BMs. If I eat three times, I poop three times. I've never felt this light and CLEAR in my life. So great when a plan comes together, isn't it? I wasn't quite expecting this because no matter what I have done in the past, I was lucky to have one BM a day, usually every 3-4 days, sometimes 7-10. I have recollection of how terrible it felt to be full of POOP all the time, and I'm eternally grateful that this is no longer the case.
